Welcome to the beginning of the Tuesday Tips! This will be quick and simple things you can add to your life if you so choose that can help with your wellness.


Today’s tip: Move while brushing your teeth in the morning.


Starting a movement practice in the morning helps our system get up and running and helps to get our sympatric nervous system online. I use the term movement here with specific intention. The e word because the e word feels way too loaded for me and conjures specific ideas of what is “required”. Starting with a small change has felt so much more comfortable for me and in case your wondering, this is part of my personal practice.

So for this practice I am just suggesting to start moving for the two minutes we are brushing our teeth. It can be a head bob, swaying your hips, moving your shoulders, what ever feels comfortable to you. By pairing this with something we are already doing we avoid having to think about when or where or any of that other stuff that gets in our way.

I will address how this works with our nervous system in another post since this is just your quick read day LOL.
